Date: Mar 10 1999 10:14:56 EST From: Songs of Praise Subject: Songs of Praise Dear friends, It's a beautiful day! Here are the things I would like to share with you today... (1) We have a new song at "Songs of Praise". It is called "Kingdom Hymn" and is written by Tim Barber. (2) My son, Hollis, is 6 years old today. He loves to play chess, but needs to get outside and play, so we are giving him a swing set. (3) There is a virus that you need to be aware of. We have received it twice already here at our home. This is not a hoax. Details follow: =============================================== Kingdom Hymn - by Tim Barber Tim wrote this wonderful songs and graciously allowed me to create a midi and feature it on my site. You can go to "Songs of Praise" and hear the midi. Then take the link over to Tim's web site and hear the Realaudio file. He also has a music score that you can print for use in your church. Here are the lyrics: In the kingdom, tears will be forgotten In the kingdom, pain will be no more Then will our eyes behold the world's salvation Then face to face we shall behold our Lord. Black and white, and young and old together Shining bright, redeemed from sin and shame Joined in one Spirit; one in voice in purpose One in our worship unto Jesus' Name. There will flow the river of rejoicing There will grow the fruit of love and peace Then will the overcomers teach the nations Then will the reign of Jesus never cease. Peace will reign upon God's holy mountain Lamb and lion lying down as friends Then will creation know its true fulfillment, And join in the dance of joy that never ends! We'll join in the dance of joy that never ends! We'll join in the dance of joy that never ends! Copyright (c) 1995 by Tim Barber, Papa's Music. All Rights Reserved. After receiving so many of these, we may start ignoring all of them. There is a new virus that is spreading rapidly via email. It is called "happy99.exe". I wouldn't mention it, but we have received 2 copies of it already at our home. The "happy99.exe" file is attached to the email. If you execute the file, the virus attaches itself to your system and proceeds to go out with every new email you send. If you receive an email with this file attached, do not execute the file. Just delete the email and your will be fine. For more information on this virus, search Yahoo for "happy99". That's all for now. Thank you for your continued support and interest. Please feel free to contact me if you have any more suggestions or comments. God bless you all! Yours in Christ, Elton Smith http://songsofpraise.org
