Dear friends,

Greetings from hot, humid North Texas.  The heat is not as bad as last
year (remember El Nino?), but the humidity is higher.

Several people have asked me when we would be making MP3 files available.
For those of you who don't know, MP3 files are compressed audio and allow
you to play a song at CD quality.  Many people are using MP3 files to make
their own CD's.  While much of this activity is illegal, there are many
sources for good quality, legal MP3 files.  "Songs of Praise" is proud to
provide a small, but hopefully growing number of MP3 files for your use.

The files are fairly large (3-5 meg each), but the sound quality is much
better than RealAudio.  Stop by and listen to some of the songs.  Most of
these recordings were made by Steve Israel. Which reminds me... Steve has

In other news, Larry Holder, Patsy Stevens (my mother), myself and several
others are busy preparing to go into 3 women's prisons here in Texas and
give evangelistic concerts.  The concert dates are July 9-10.  Please pray
for our success in this effort.
