I haven't written in a while. It has been a horrible time for the
United States and indeed for the whole world. Things we thought were
safe are no longer safe. But we must go on with our lives. I offer you
today the following news. There are 3 new items:

(1) Our new CD ("My Soul's Desire") is finally ready!
(2) Gilberto Barreto has written a new song in response to the terrorist
attacks.
(3) Alvin Fisher has a new CD.

(1) New CD: "My Soul's Desire".

Have I been promising this for 6 months? It seems like it! Well, its
worth the wait. Steve Israel and his daughter Sarah worked on this
project for countless hours and the results are incredible. There are
recordings of 9 songs along with accompaniment tracks. Please listen to

(2) "Call Upon Me" by Gilberto Barreto.

The terrorist have disrupted our lives but we don't have to live in fear
of them. God says, "Call upon Me in the day of trouble and I will
deliver you". Using scripture, Gilberto wrote this new song and sent it

I have a good friend from college who lives in New York City. I called
him a couple of days after the World Trade Center was destroyed to see
if he was ok. He works from his apartment about 1.5 miles north of the
