Mariposa Grove
We drove to Mariposa Grove near the south end of Yosemite park. This is one of 75 remaining groves of giant Sequoia trees. It seems that when the loggers tried to cut these trees, they broke as they fell and were not useful for lumber. It rained lightly as we walked through the grove.
