George Muller was born in Germany, but moved to England when he was a man. He was not a good person in his early years, but he was converted and began to live a life pleasing to God. He sold his possessions and gave the money to the poor. He prayed for things he needed. He built orphanages for orphans who had no one to care for them. In his lifetime he cared for 10,000 orphan children. He and his wife Susannah traveled to 42 countries around the world telling people to do good and depend on God.
