In every life a little rain must fall. Gilberto and I wrote this song for those times. - Elton
Introduction
I cry aloud to you Lord.
I lift up my voice to you for mercy.
I pour out my complaints before you.
Before you I can tell my troubles.
When my spirit grows faint within me,
It is you who know my way.
Listen to my cry
for I am in desperate need.
Rescue me from those who pursue me.
Listen to my cry
for I am in desperate need.
Then the righteous will gather about me.
O Lord, hear my prayer,
listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief.
Do not bring me into judgment,
for I am not righteous before you.
I have put my trust in you,
do not hide your face from me.
Listen to my cry
for I am in desperate need.
Rescue me from those who pursue me.
Listen to my cry
for I am in desperate need.
Then the righteous will gather about me.
Listen to my cry
for I am in desperate need.
Rescue me from those who pursue me.
Listen to my cry
for I am in desperate need.
Then the righteous will gather about me.
Listen to my cry.
