Lyrics

(Introduction)

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, praise the Lord.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, praise the Lord.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Praise God in His sanctuary,
praise Him in His mighty heavens,
praise Him for His acts of power,
praise Him for His surpassing greatness.
Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise Him with the harp and lyre,
praise Him with the tambourine and dancing,
praise Him with the strings and flute.
Praise Him with the clash of cymbals,
praise Him with the resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, praise the Lord.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, praise the Lord.

Praise God in His sanctuary,
praise Him in His mighty heavens,
praise Him for His acts of power,
praise Him for His surpassing greatness.
Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise Him with the harp and lyre,
praise Him with the tambourine and dancing,
praise Him with the strings and flute.
Praise Him with the clash of cymbals,
praise Him with the resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, praise the Lord.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, praise the Lord.

Karen2007-07-08Beautiful music, but there are already so many songs by this title that it makes it difficult to find songs and words for our worship services. I was looking for "Praise the Lord" by Bannister & Hudson from 1978 for our worship service this evening. You might want to consider a different title.
