Lollipops and Cars

It was around 2002 when I was babysitting my 2 oldest grandsons.  The Lord began putting these little lyrics in my head.  I just began to hum the little song and decided to do a score sheet.  I began playing on my trusty little Yamaha just to see what would happen. I had just finished writing and recording "Completely Healed" at Sounds of Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama. It sounded so cute, I thought I'd go and see if the master musician there liked it enough to lay down tracks.

At Sounds of Birmingham, they are the best at taking what people are trying to convey in a song.  He created the cutest little soundtrack for the song...I love it!

Now, 20 years later, the grandchildren I wrote it for have children of their own.  On my Facebook page, a page with the music will be displayed with  pictures of the grandbabies and some graphics that just suit the song so sweet...a little girl in mommies heel shoes and others. Complete credit will be given to any graphics I use.  Of course, how in the world could I ever have gotten this music online without the expert help of my friend Elton Smith.

The music done for Completely Healed and Lollipops and Cars were all financed by the insurance money from my husband's policy. I can't think of a more beautiful way to spend insurance money than on music, as Rev Ed Ray loved children and he would have been happy to have financed this effort.
